I looked at myself in the mirror last night and, like Keanu, I went "whoa." Either my diet - oops, I mean lifestyle change - is working or I am slowly wasting away due to some degenerative disease. Perhaps it is the former. The jowls seem to be shrinking and my face might be narrower. I don't think this is just wishful thinking. Looks like low carb works for me.

In line with this being a lifestyle change, I am taking all things in moderation. It's low carb, not no carb. My rice intake has decreased by about 95 percent and I am more careful in picking my food. But I don't cringe whenever the chicken leg I am about to eat has some breading on it nor do I vehemently refuse a potato chip or two (to my credit I do just get one or two chips and not gorge on a bag by myself).

Must remember to weigh myself this Sunday.

Today is deadline day for T3's December issue so things are quite hectic here at Summit central. Adding to the stress of agonizing over layouts and proofs, the office is resounding with the sound of power drilling - the folks next door are constructing some sort of secret underground lair. Our office is a box without windows or curtains or any kind of noise reduction baffles so the dulcet tones of industry just bounce around, driving us all crazy.

To further contribute to the day's stress, I found out earlier that our labrador lola Chokie is incarcerated in the Marikina Dog Pound. Somehow, she got out of the gate without the guard and maids noticing. She was missing over two hours before anyone noticed she was gone. It's going to cost around 5 grand to get her back, thanks to all them fines.

Grrrrr.

This week I start my - i don't want to call it a diet - lifestyle modification. Breakfast today was two mushroom and scrambled egg sandwiches which I ate en route to work. Lunch, which I am eating right now, is boiled chicken and Kaye's tuna-mushroom mix. I can eat this forever. Just wish she gave me double helpings hahaha. Protein no carb. Protein no carb.

I also ditched the truck in favor of a more environmentally friendly mode of transportation - the urban commute. One jeep ride, one train ride, and one bus ride gets me to my office. I promise to use the gas-guzzling truck only when I have to.

I also tried out a new Nivea double action facial wash. Bango!

Right now I want to kiss someone in the rain because she's never done it before. Meow.

I'm soooo farkin' tired. Monster location shoot late last night/early morning plus hardly any sleep and now I'm at work finishing the accompanying text. I'm nuts.

I'm glad the photos came out super nice.
